AND THE WINNER IS….
The Core Competency Committee is pleased to announce the winner of the Blackberry tablet. Congratulations to Robin Hamilton, whose story of initiating, planning and attending a trip to Disney World in Florida with the ladies who lived at the Crimson home exemplified the core competencies and superior performance in her role as an Assistant Support Provider.
I would also like to thank all of the other staff who took the time to share their stories, the decision was a difficult one to make as there were many great examples of individuals going above the every day expectations and making a difference in the lives of the people we support. Stories of initiative, collaboration and resilience. So a huge thank you to Lisa R., Jessica H., Lindsay S., Melissa G., and Kristy G., for their submissions and stories.
Click HERE to reads Robin’s story. It’s a great example of how you are making a difference in the lives of people supported and showing what your job can do for you. As well, I will put up each of the submissions over the next few weeks in order to share some great examples of staff exhibiting the core competencies and superior performance in their support roles. It is really wonderful to read the stories of how much this role means to both support providers and those supported.
