Our senior leadership team works within and outside of the Waterloo Region on various community and provincial committees.
Kathy Loveys, CEO
Kathy began her career in social services in 1985 serving in various front-line positions and was promoted to a management position at Christian Horizons. She was hired as Executive Director at Parents for Community Living in 1989.
Kathy obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo and Renison University.
Kathy believes in giving back to her community and has been an active member of the Rotary club of Kitchener Westmount since 2008.
Kathy strongly supports the vision of living in a community where every person is valued and lives with choice and dignity. She believes in collaboration and partnerships with for profit and not for profit corporations to further advance this vision. A focus on leadership excellence has resulted in various awards for Parents for Community Living in workplace wellness, not for profit community service, human resources leadership and governance.
Kathy has two adult sons, loves photography, travel and gardening.
